Moving and starting at a new school isn|t all rainbows and sunshine for Madalyn, especially when she discovers that she|s the only Black girl in her class. while most of her classmates are friendly, assumptions lead to some serious storms.Worse, living with her great-uncle, Papa Lobo, means being part of a long-running feud with a neighbor. Madalyn wonders just how far things will go at school and at home. But when fires threaten the community, she discovers that being truly neighborly means weathering tough conversations.
